Length: 10 cm

Wingspan: 11.4 cm

Weight: 5.2 – 5.7 g

Coloration:

Males: predominantly green with a rufous-colored tail and a pink bill with a black tip

Females: duller green upperparts, a more pronounced rufous wash on their flanks, and often a more prominent rufous patch in their tail.
